MEMBERSHIP AND CLUB / INSTRUCTOR
AFFILIATION TO RAPID ARNIS INTERNATIONAL:

     Many individuals / clubs and groups are constantly becoming members of the Rapid Arnis International Group, if you wish to be an Individual member or an Affiliated Club Instructor then it could not be easier. NO EXPERIENCE IN FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS IS NECESSARY TO BECOME AN AFFILIATED INSTRUCTOR USING OUR UNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAMME.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP:

     is £20.00 UK Pounds (Euro €35.00; US Dollars $40.00) per year which can be paid via Paypal. If you are an individual member in the UK or Europe you must attend the Rapid Arnis training camp which is held every year. If you are a student of an Affiliated Club or Instructor in the UK or Europe then you only have to attend the training camp after you reach Blue Belt 1 or above.

AFFILIATED CLUB / INSTRUCTOR MEMBERSHIP:

     You can become an Affiliated Club Instructor on the condition that you must host at least one seminar per year taught by Master O'Malley, we would advise that you also seek out additional instruction from one of our nearest senior instructors. Additional time for training will be put aside for the Affiliated Club Instructor over the seminar period Free of Charge and their level will be kept ahead of the rest of their Club / Group.

     Grading's for the Instructor of the Affiliated Club are also FREE if held in conjunction with the Affiliated Clubs yearly Seminar.

     The Affiliated Instructor will be allowed to perform his/her own Grading's up to an agreed level. "ACCEPTANCE IS SUBJECT TO A CODE OF CONDUCT". Master O'Malley will also test your students for Grading's at an Affiliated Clubs request which if hosted during the Affiliated Clubs yearly seminar there will be no additional charge. You will also receive an Affiliate Instructors Certificate confirming your membership.

MEMBERS ADDITIONAL HELP:

    Master O'Malley is also be available for any additional help required by Affiliated Clubs, Instructors and Members, so if you do see a problem or simply need advice on anything regarding Rapid Arnis International and / or Doce Pares "Original Multi Style"

BOOKING A SEMINAR

     Master O'Malley will be assisted by his wife and Master Instructor Magino'o Lucy O'Malley and any other Instructor he deems necessary, the organising instructor will also receive extra training in addition to the seminar.

The booking fee for seminars is as follows:

  1. £500.00 UK pounds sterling (Euros €1000.00  -   US Dollars $1000.00) per 2 day seminar. A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable in advance.

  1. Travel & Expenses for 2 persons. Including Air Fares etc for seminars outside UK.  Air flights must be paid in advance by the host.

  1. Accommodation for over-night or weekend stay as required for Master's Pat & Lucy O'Malley.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  1. All Affiliated Clubs / Instructors must book at least one seminar per year  with Master O'Malley

  1. Seminars with other Rapid Arnis Instructors may be booked in addition to the yearly Affiliated Club seminar at the Affiliated Club Instructors discretion. Contact us for rates and details.

  1. You do NOT have to be a member of Rapid Arnis International to book a seminar.

  1. Becoming a member is only required if you wish to take a grade in Rapid Arnis or Doce Pares Original Multi Style Eskrima, or wish to be part of our Affiliate Instructor Training Programme. You can still continue to teach your own style in addition to Rapid Arnis.

RAPID ARNIS INTERNATIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT:

     On Enrolment a student or instructor will be deemed to have accepted and to have agreed to conform to the CODE OF CONDUCT observed by all students and instructors representing Rapid Arnis International.

That is :-

  1. To respect the dignity of the school, styles, groups and organisation (Rapid Arnis International, Doce Pares "Multi Style" Eskrima & San Miguel Eskrima) at all times.
  2. To behave with proper respect to Officials, Instructors and other students of the club, styles and groups within Rapid Arnis International / Doce Pares "Multi Style" Eskrima / San Miguel Eskrima and the Filipino martial arts as a whole.
  3. To accept that any infringement will be considered detrimental to the prestige of the club, styles and groups within the organisation as well as being a serious reflection on the honour of Rapid Arnis International / Doce Pares "Multi Style" Eskrima / San Miguel Eskrima and the Filipino martial arts as a whole.
  4. Practice of any of the martial arts systems or techniques employed by Rapid Arnis International / Doce Pares "Multi Style" Eskrima and it's members may only be practiced under the strict supervision of a fully qualified Rapid Arnis or Doce Pares Instructor and / or representative of Rapid Arnis International and / Doce Pares "Multi Style" Eskrima or San Miguel Eskrima that has been authorised to teach on our behalf.
  5. The use of martial Arts or Combat techniques are in no way to be used or demonstrated outside the official classes or special training courses unless (a) It is for your own personal self protection and that of your family (b) The assistance in protecting an innocent member or your family or the general public  © Without the permission of the Chief Instructors of Rapid Arnis International / Doce Pares International & San Miguel Eskrima.
  6. All members and instructors must adhere to our Child Protection Policy.
  7. Failure to accept and adhere to the Code of Conduct will mean automatic expulsion from Rapid Arnis International and it's member groups. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

RAPID ARNIS OPEN POLICY
The Rapid Arnis International Organisations 'OPEN POLICY' expects people to individually express themselves and will not tolerate any one student or instructor suppression knowledge of the Filipino martial arts regardless of style or anyone's individual personality and any way or form.

We are educators not dictators, but we do expect students and instructors alike to follow the Rapid Arnis 'Code of Conduct'. This is the Rapid Arnis way.

Remember, we are keepers of a legacy.
