She has also competed to a high degee in MMA when is was more commonly known as Vale Tudo where she became British Vale Tudo Champion winning her title bout in under 1 minute. Dayang Lucy is also the first women to become a fully fledged member of 'The Black Eagle Society' (there are only 2 so far) and one of it's longest running senior members. Dayang Lucy still participates in this format of NHB Full Contact Stick Fighting from time to time. As an instructor she has not only become Europe's leading female instructors she has become one of the leading figures on the FMA scene around Europe and the rest of the world, so much so that in 2006 she was awarded life membership to Doce Pares by the Council of GrandMasters at the Doce Pares HQ in Cebu for her ahceivements in the promotion of Eskrima Kali Arnis around the world. Dayang Lucy O'Malley is also the first non Filipina women to be inducted into the Philippine Council of Kali Eskrima Arnis Masters who also gave her the title of 'Dayang'. Dayang Lucy is also one of the 3 orriginal founders of the British Council Kali Eskrima Arnis Instructors and has held the possition of Chairperson and has also helped propogate other council's around the world. The BCKEAI now has over 20 styles working together to promote the FMA without politics, much of this is due to Dayang Lucy's desire and effort to promote all FMA regardless of style.  Dayang Lucy is also the International Cheif Instructor for Rapid Arnis International and the Director in charge of teaching the Doce Pares Original Multi Style System under the direct guidance of GM Dionisio Canete (Founder). Although Dayang Lucy no longer participates in the sports side of the FMA she is still very active in it's promotion and has over the years trained numerous British, European and World Champions. She is also the owner, Director and Producer of the film company 'Extremely Sharp Productions' a film company that produces top quality FMA training DVD's. Dayang Lucy is now the main training partner of Tuhon Pat O'Malley and travels the world teaching seminars along side him and has been a mojor influence in the more recent developements and improvements within the organsation and has built a reputation of being a world class instructor of the FMA with her specialities being sinlge stick combat and disarming.
